United by a shared vision and deep cultural pride, Marisela and Jhonnathan partnered with John Lascari to bring 19-Seventy to life, a heartfelt tribute to their Sicilian heritage and the immigrant journey that shaped who they are. With passion and purpose, they breathed new life into long-lost family traditions, infusing cherished recipes with the warmth and familiarity of home. Together, they built more than a restaurant, they created a legacy.
Driven by passion and years of experience in hospitality, they re imagined Italian-Sicilian cuisine with a bold, modern twist. Every dish and cocktail reflect their dedication to craft, culture, and community, from freshly made pasta to innovative techniques that blend culinary artistry with mixology.
19Seventy isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a celebration of legacy, flavor, and the shared joy of gathering around a table.
With a degree in laboratory and food science, Marisela Davalos discovered her passion for culinary innovation. She thrives in creative collaboration, working hand-in-hand with chefs and mixologists to reimagine traditional food and drinks. Her scientific background fuels her drive to explore every possibility, bringing a fresh perspective to the art of hospitality.
